Woe to dame who seeks grand disguise
Donning black feather boa, veil of lace
Certain rouge-tinted lips and kohl-lined eyes
Will hide sad truth: her sashay’s out of place
Far better, modest dress…and to feign she’s wise
Than prove flamboyant fool gowned in disgrace
But if there still be question of persona—
It’s best to stay in bed, wear frayed kimono.
